David is the Managing Director of Busseys, a family owned dealer group founded in 1922. David’s £65 million turnover multi-franchise group operates from 7 dealerships throughout Norfolk. David has worked in the industry for 27 years, the last 10 in his current role. He has also held a number of roles on external liaison committees, working with manufacturers and other bodies to help develop the industry. In 2001 he achieved an MSc in Automotive Management from Loughborough University.

Ashley Winter OBE FIMI
CEO Retail Automotive Alliance Limited

Ash has 30 years experience in the retail motor industry. He was Chairman and Managing Director of the £250m turnover Patterson Motor Group based in Newcastle upon Tyne until late 2007 when it was sold to Arnold Clark Automobiles Ltd. He was a founder Director of the RAA from 2005 till 2007 and a past Chairman of the UK National Ford Dealer Council. He is a Governor of Northumbria University, Director of the Community Foundation in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland and a Board member (past Chairman) of the Learning and Skills Council North East. He was awarded the OBE in 2003 for services to business in the North East.

Recently appointed Group Purchasing Manager at the RAA. Dean has been involved in purchasing for 18 years in various industry sectors importing outsourced goods and services from Europe, USA and the Far East. Dean is based centrally in Crawley, and is responsible for co-ordinating supplier relationships for the Retail Automotive Alliance.
